First Date With Bob

Had a first real date with Bob on Tuesday night. Dinner and a movie. He suggested Skewers Middle Eastern Restaurant for dinner, where I uncharacteristically ordered the salmon (I’m not big on fish), which was great. And the movie we saw was a feature at the Real Affirmations gay film festival, Play Dead. It was a black comedy riot which we both loved.

Bob is just such an insanely great guy, it’s kind of scary. Good scary. In fact, Bob and I ran into an acquaintance of mine, who later remarked, “That guy is worth making an effort for.” I couldn’t agree more.

Hopefully there will be a second date sometime soon.
