Just a few more words about the recital: It was wonderful, I did cry. It was also a little surreal. I couldn’t shake the feeling that Bob was playing at his own wake. Which I guess is not a bad thing. More people should have the chance to experience how much their friends and family love them before<\/i> they die. And there was certainly a deep river of love running through that room. During the final ovation, it looked to me as though Bob’s great friend and collaborator Noah was about to lose it, though he did not.<\/p>\n
One other note: The guy previously mentioned who I met at the new Green Lantern was a hot, black muscle guy, mid-thirties, who I’ve seen around, named Kevin Senn. We talked for a good bit (he’s an FDA drug investigator), then when back to my place for some hot sex. I topped him, which was a lot of fun. The only reservation I had about the experience was that he’s HIV-negative, and yet was willing and eager for me to fuck him, and it didn’t seem to matter whether that was with protection or without.
