Chatting With Charlie

So I finally visited Charlie’s chatroom on ChangingCam, having told him I would when I met him at Philly PrideFest. And he was even more friendly and personable online than he was curbside — considering the chat was, as he joked, “about ME ME ME!”

Seriously, though, he and I connected a little bit again around the craft of writing. He’s so good, I’m really jealous. He said he’s starting revisions on a “novelish kind of thing.” And he asked about the Scout’s Honor screenings, so he obviously remembered our chat pretty well. Cool. But, no, it’s not a crush.

On another note: It’s a pretty good week for TV work. I wrote a segment for Old Homes Restored today, and have a shoot for NAHB’s other show, Dream Builders, in Allentown, PA, on Friday — which, of course, I’ll write next week. And WRC News E.P. Frank Caskin asked me to call him Thursday morning so he can schedule me in for writer training. All-in-all, a good week.
