My name is Tim Curran. I'm an award-winning broadcast and online journalist based in New York City. I have decades of experience as a non-fiction video producer, manager, writer, reporter and anchor. And I've had the opportunity to innovate in many different areas: radio, television and digital news; reality programming; documentaries; and newsroom startups.
Following ten years as founder and head of America's first broadcast newsroom for the lesbian and gay community at SiriusXM, and a brief but successful return to my previous career making cable documentaries and reality shows, I'm back where I started—in TV news. But now I'm in a national TV newsroom in New York, as the lead writer and control room copy editor for CNN's first-of-the-day domestic show, Early Start.

This site was last updated on March 31, 2019, when I added CNN to my résumé and fixed a few technical
problems with the samples page.
Hostinger.com
Before that, the previous update was on February 11, 2014, when I added a clip and information about my most recent documentary credits to my résumé and samples pages.
I'm planning a complete redesign of the site to bring it up to modern
responsive design web standards (so it will look much better on a phone,
for example).
